So does every NFL team at least suck a little bit this year?

It sure seems like it. Just when I think the Bucs are ready to turn the corner, they can’t score a point against the Saints

Cardinals lose by THREE scores against the Lions?!

All but one team with at least five losses in the AFC? And the team that is leading the conference sorta feels like they’re sucking every other week or so?

What’s the deal? Does anyone NOT suck at least a little bit? Doesn’t seem like there is one great team in the league this year

It’s pretty exciting I guess!

Sometimes I like it better that way. Seems like the NFL playoffs will be a wide open tournament.

i didn't see any of the game but that cards/lions score, without D-Swift, makes no sense other than Goff apparently was flawless

One thing about the Lions is they've played pretty hard most of the year. They were flying around on D yesterday and seemed really amped up to be playing. Arizona on the other hand looked like a team that was sleep walking and didn't want to be there. These NFC wild card matchups with the #5 and #6 seed on the road against the #3 and #4 are going to be really good matchups whoever they end up being.

Funny, Arizona is home to Indy on Xmas.

Indy coming off big win vs pats on prime time
AZ coming of bad loss to the crappy lions.

AZ is currently a 1.5 pt favorite. I could see that line get bet down to even and possibly Indy is favored by kickoff.

AZ wins the game

Thats NFL gambling for ya

its why i always print the lookahead lines available in vegas to see how much public perception from one week will change a line. In this case it wasn't influenced at all

The advanced line in Vegas was Arizona -1 / 51 which tells you vegas just doesn't like ari that much. Remember Arizona is dead last in NFL in explosive rushes against them and a little dude called Taylor is ready for a monster game in Phoenix as they are behind only CLE and PHI is % of explosive rushes

here were all the lines:

flip a coin, might save some misery.

I had GB -5.5 yesterday awesome closing value, up like 14 with 7 mins left and piss it away, to a backup QB and a Defense missing like 10 guys.

No rhyme or reason, gotta get lucky!!!

I see the public ALL OVER the colts on Saturday.

Now i'm curious to see if the books raise the line for a little RLM action?

Anyways, i'm gonna take the cards and put the play in tomorrow

I think it's because of the extra game added to the schedule this year. Football is such a physical game that teams are picking what games they show up for.

Even before the 17 game schedule teams would throw in a clunker every once in a while

We got a interesting game on Thursday with SF Tenn. AFC south up for grabs
tenn has Miami at home and Texans on road so maybe 2-1 or 1-2. Colts have raiders and jags at home 3-0 or 2-1

It's called Parity!!!

There is very little separating the talent on Best record team from the Worst record team in the NFL;--MOSTLY COACHING --
(and you cannot predict -drive and max effort in professional sports ........because you just do not get it in every game, that's Human Nature--)

I started a thread on this basically
QB play has not been the same this year
Offenses are not quite dominating
Mahomes
Allen
Jackson
Wilson
These guys and others have dropped off from last year or previous years

I would say the top 4 NFC teams are as good of a top 4 as I can remember, all good to great on both sides of the ball when reasonably healthy (LAR, DAL, GB, TB). Especially since nfc has usually been the weaker conference in recent history as far as top tier teams.

In the AFC, and this isn't based on recent results, but what I think is happening and I've said this before but the quality of play from the mid-tier QB has gone up a lot. There are really only a few teams with straight stiffs at the position anymore, this creates parity.

Then the other reason is just injuries more brutal than ever. Teams just straight die now like the Ravens or titans have. Long ass season.

I like Josh Allen, with his size he will rarely be hurt and Mahomes is fine IMO.

Jackson is small and the league has prob caught up with him a bit, still a starter in the NFL and Wilson for Seattle just needs a change of scenery.

YES, lets see Huntley do it over a larger sample size.

Teams fuck up and give guys like him huge contracts, once teams have film on him they will adjust and he will be a overpriced backup IMO.
For sure what you said about Huntley is true. But he passed his first test, a pretty stern one. Green Bay ain't exactly crap and they had a week to prepare for him. He was superior in that game. Lamar has lost his mojo. He hasn't had a rushing TD since the second week of the season and his TD to int ratio is 16-13. That's pure shit.
I'll guarantee that there is now a QB controversy bubbling up in Baltimore. And rightfully so.

Could be, people say Jackson hasn't been the same since COVID. Huntley did look good, we will see.

At this point in time.. Anyone calling for Huntley to play over Jackson, when Jackson is 100% healthy, is a full blown retard and should not be discussing football. They should concentrate on constantly wiping the drool from their chin instead.
